macOSLAPS – Randomize your Local Administrator Passwords – By Joshua Miller, Glossier

With the macOSLAPS open source project, randomize the local administrator password on all of your macOS devices with relative ease and escrow the password to either Active Directory or your MDM of choice. With full customization, you can define how complex or long the password for the account should be as well as exclude those pesky characters that look similar. With built in support for secureToken, your local administrator can also be used to unlock FileVault devices or rotate the key.  Watch this presentation for an introduction to this product and begin testing it in your environment in as little as an hour.
