mac_mgrs_crowdThe University of Utah, MacAdmins Meeting is held monthly at the Marriott Library on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 11 AM Mountain Time. Presentations cover Apple technology and integration in a heterogeneous university enterprise environment. This months meeting will be held on Wed, Oct 18th 2017, and we will provide live broadcasted and archives that will be made available 2-3 days after the meeting.

Understanding The Skype and Teams Announcements at Ignite – Paul Cannon, Microsoft


At Microsoft Ignite, one of the big announcements was that the Skype for Business’s capabilties would be fully integrated into Microsoft Teams, the online collaboration service which was unveiled last fall. This presentation will outline the announcement and the transition of capabilities from Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams.

Bill Parr, CCIE Emeritus #13,386 is currently Systems Engineer Manager supporting engineers covering four states in the intermountain west. He has worked in the IT industry for 25 years with the last 19 as a Cisco SE in Utah. During his years in the public sector, he assisted university, K-12, state and local Utah customer engineers with their wired and wireless network deployments. He has been an avid Apple bigot since his Apple II days.
