iMazing Profile Editor – By Ari Leviatan, DigiDNA

Configuration profiles are a powerful management tool for deploying settings onto Apple devices, but creating them manually in XML can be a laborious and difficult task. In this talk, we will look at how to easily create, edit, and sign profiles using the graphical user interface of the free iMazing Profile Editor application. Profiles created with the app are 100% standard-compatible and can be readily loaded locally or pushed via MDM to fleets of iPhones, iPads, Macs, and other Apple devices that you manage for employees, students, or customers. Office-Reset – By Paul Bowden, Microsoft

Office-Reset is a new tool designed to troubleshoot and repair common issues with Microsoft Office for Mac applications. The tool can help fix app launch errors, freezes, hangs, crashes, bad plug-ins, corrupt templates, performance issues, and confusing error messages. You can tell Office-Reset to fix a specific application, or you tell it to perform a ‘factory reset’ – essentially putting Office back to the same pristine state as when you first installed it. There’s also an option to completely start over, where the tool can remove every application, cache, container, preference, and keychain entry that Office may have created while it was running. Paul will explain the philosophy behind developing the tool and give you insights into how it works. Designed for both consumer and commercial environments, Paul will show you the various options for integrating the tool into your Self Service portal.
